Within the framework of the "Performance Engineering for Scientific Software" competition, the DFG is funding six of a total of 14 submitted projects. This supports projects with concepts for increasing the efficiency of codes as well as raising awareness among HPC users and their acceptance in this area. The applications recommended for funding are classified as suitable by the DFG reviewer group, either locally, transversely or nationally, to improve IT services so that a large number of scientists benefit from it and HPC installations are used more efficiently.
